So we're off on week #7 or #6 depending if you count that week that I aborted or not. I count it but BC doesn't. I guess he is right so let's call this week no 6 instead.

It's started pretty badly but we'll see.. Miracles have been known to happen.

My back is feeling better again, so I'm hoping on getting off every day this week to walk. If I manage to beat Big Chowder? I don't know. But I'll be shedding weight never the less.

So we're off on week #5 . I managed to win last week, but it was pretty much on walkover since BC had been bnusy doing other stuff. And this week I've been challenged with the weather. It's been raining like crazy so there hasn't been much walking going on. And I've experienced an increasing pain in my lower back, that didn't go away until Saturday. Odd!!!

So we're starting off week #4 now after having taken 2 weeks off from walking and letting my shins repair themselves. Mission accomplished! But I'm off to a slow start, cause I donÃïÃÂÂÃÂÃÂÃÂÃïÃÂÂÃïÃÂt want to injure myself again!

Tue: May 1st is a day for protests, not walking! :-D

Sat: Too much other shite

Worse than previous weeks, I know, but I've been taking it a bit easy as not to injure myself again! It was tough though, getting back on track. I don't know why. It feels as if I have lead in my feet, and my back... it's killing me! Well, there you have it anyway.

But the fun thing is that I WON!!!!!!!!!!

So we're starting off week #3 now...

Due to problems with shin splints I had to abort this weeks walk. I have been in contact with Big Chowder and he too has paused his efforts until I get well again. I will be trying out to walk again on monday and we'll see how that goes. So much for being a tough guy!

So here are the distances walked in the international walk-off week #1 (starting April 2nd 2007) by me. The rules are set and we are allowed to count 5 out of 7 days of the week for the weekly total, which will then be added until week #8, but I thought I'd be honest and show you my every day progress, so this post will be updated EVERY DAY, so check it out. I also added a link every day to the actual route I've taken for anyone who wants to go all detaily.

For the 3rd time in the history of the show, I am sorry to have to inform you that the Polarbear Podcast will be a bit late. All this due to reasons totally beyond my control (often meaning vulcanos, hurricanes and earth quakes but here; lack of time).

I will try to have a show out there for you by wednesday lunch (swedish time). It's all in the process, but just not finalized yet, and I can't record when my kids are sleeping in the next room. Such is life!

And d**n those PTA-meetings stealing time from my podcasting...!
