Mon, 5 February 2007 For the 3rd time in the history of the show, I am sorry to have to inform you that the Polarbear Podcast will be a bit late. All this due to reasons totally beyond my control (often meaning vulcanos, hurricanes and earth quakes but here; lack of time). I will try to have a show out there for you by wednesday lunch (swedish time). It's all in the process, but just not finalized yet, and I can't record when my kids are sleeping in the next room. Such is life! And d**n those PTA-meetings stealing time from my podcasting...! / Andy Category: Information -- posted at: 2:51 PM Comments[3]
Tue, 30 January 2007 Welcome back to what might be the last BTS ever! I managed to get Marie into the studio last week where I pinned her down for 40 minutes, which was enough time to make a show. It turned out so good that she now says that she just might be back again...! Why don't you send her an email and beg - it could help. :-) / Andy Comments[5]

Mon, 15 January 2007 Just wanted to let you guys know that I will be a few days late perhaps with this weeks show. You know that I'm very picky about releasing the shows every tuesday morning, so this hurts me a bit. The reason for this is my daughter, who was supposed to go and stay with her mom now for two weeks today, giving me the entire evening off to do the show, but then decided she had a little too many daddy-hugs left so she wanted to stay for one more evening. Said and done! Didn't take to much pursuasion. If you'd ever seen her you would understand why I just can't say no to her on a request like that. I hope you can respect my descision to pospone the show one or days because of this. A new show will be out as soon as I can record it! In he meantime, check out the "dark side" of the Polarbear Podcast, at Andy's Playground. Keep it real. / Andy Category: Information -- posted at: 3:18 PM Comments[1]

Sun, 31 December 2006 For the very first time... ...and maybe last, I don't know, I've decided to deliver a show in video format. It's my very first time working with iMovie, so it's very much a trial for the future, but I found it pretty easy to work with even if video is a completely different cup of tea all together, compared with audio. But it's fun to go over the edge once in a while, and what could be a better time than today - New Years Eve! Happy New Year!!! Sun, 24 December 2006 From all of us, to all of you... A Very Merry Christmas! Welcome to the very last show of 2006. Today we talk a little bit about how christmas is celebrated in Sweden. I can't tell of every single tradition of course, but we get past quite a few of them. I also get some surprise greetings! I wish you all a Merry Christmas (or whatever holiday you are celebrating this time of year) and a Happy New Year, and hope to talk to you soon again, at the start of 2007. Tue, 19 December 2006 Space Balls! I can't help it but get carried away by the ongoing space trip. Up there somewhere in the orbit of earth, there is a little space station called ISS, and it is pretty small you know if you compare it to our planet. And on that ship there is an even smaller dude, from Bromma outside of Stockholm called Christer Fuglesang, looking down on us all, every time he peaks out of a window or takes a walk (aka EVA). It's amazing! I can't help thinking of the lyrics to the David Bowie song Space Oddity from back in 1969: "For here Am I sitting in a tin can Far above the world Planet earth is blue And there's nothing I can do" So it's a lot of talk about space travel today, but we get into other things too. Tue, 12 December 2006 5...4...3...2...1...Lift off! Today is a great day in Swedish history, but I'll get back to why during the show, cause things happened as the show progressed and that gave it an interesting twist. Tue, 5 December 2006 Congratulations...ME! Today it's my name day, and I celebrate this by uh...doing a show?! Well, never the less it still is, and the way we swedes celebrate this is very different and varies from family to family. I'll tell you a bit about all that today. And the winter that I thought was on it's way, suddenly died out and disappeared. Odd! Snapshot of Sweden: We visit the mining town of Falun in the middle part of sweden (which is pretty much north if you ask most of us) and check out the old Falu Copper Mine which has been a source of national income for more than 1.000 years! Damn, I'm late with this episode.
Still doing it off the top of my head and I'm still very proud of it! It's all this podcasting with Peppe (on my other podcast) that helps me along.

A brand new (LATE) show. Sorry about that! It's crazy over here.
