Tue, 28 November 2006 Good morning everyone! Thanks to a very kind listener of mine, I am able to record this show in the good company of a little bowl of Hot Tamales. From time to time it feels as if my mouth is on fire but I think we'll get through the whole show without any bigger problems anyway. Can one become addicted to Hot Tamales do you think? Maybe there is something in them that causes that...we'll have to check that out. Snapshot of Sweden: We visit the capital of Sweden and take a look at the worlds largest hemispherical construction, The Stockholm Globe Arena! Tue, 21 November 2006 ![]() Welcome to the kitchen! This is a somewhat unusual episode, totally off the format and that's what makes it so fun! Join me and my assistant (Marie) in the kitchen as we present the very first "A taste of Sweden" and show you how to make some traditional swedish meatballs! Here's some ingredients: 500g minced meat (pref. beef) 1 dl bread crumbs 1 dl milk 1 tea spoon salt 1 pinch of black pepper 1/2 yellow onion 1 egg Music on the show: Slowmoboy, The Lost And Found Comments[0] |
Tue, 14 November 2006 Am I being to personal? If I am, please let me know. You see I've got one email from a listener who is of that opinion, but as they say - a feather doesn't make a hen! (Never heard that expression before? Well it might be swedish). Anyway, I think it's nice when the podcast host actually has an opinion. Otherwise I might just as well stick with commercial radio and listen to them sucking up to advertisers all day. What do you think about the show? Tue, 7 November 2006 Scary episode? Well, not really, but on todays show I try to explain the differences between Allahelgona helgen, celebrated in Sweden, and Halloween. But we talk about a lot of other things too of course. We've for instance been living "la dolce vita" the past two weeks when the kids have been out of the house, but that has to stop now! It ain't good for your heart. I've decided to strip the website and shownotes page from all Google, Yahoo and Amazon ads, since they are just messing up the graphic design, and hardly bringing any income at all! Hope you like it!
